Delete your data from Knock

Last updated: October 15, 2026

This page covers the mobile app Knock (package identifier com.lcsoftwaresolutions.knock) on iOS and Android, published by Naeim Salib ("we", "us"). Contact: Accounts@lcsoftwaresolutions.com.

Knock keeps two separate things online, and each has its own button in Settings → About & Legal → Privacy & Data: Delete online data removes your leaderboard profile, and Delete account & cloud save (only if you signed in) removes your account, its saved progress and the leaderboard profile saved with it. When online, the app waits for the servers to confirm deletion; offline requests stay pending. This page explains each, and what you can do if you have already uninstalled Knock.

For players under 13, Knock does not start the leaderboard or sign-in/cloud-save features. If an older installation already linked an account, selecting protected mode keeps its local progress and ends the local sign-in; it does not delete the existing online account. A parent or guardian can contact us for help; email does not currently initiate account deletion. The existing account is not erased merely by choosing protected mode.

What we store online

Knock is a single-player puzzle game with two online features: a leaderboard, which you join automatically for players 13 and older, after the age question, by opening the app with a connection, and an optional account (see If you signed in below). If the app has never been online, there is nothing on our servers to delete. For the leaderboard, what we hold for a player who has been online is exactly this, and nothing else:

WhatWhy it exists
A player number generated by the app So your scores can be counted as yours. Unless you sign in, it is not linked to your name, your email, your phone or any other account. If you sign in, your cloud save (kept under your Knock account) includes it, so it comes back after a reinstall.
A display name (3–12 letters and digits) and an avatar number So other players can see who a score belongs to. Public by design.
Your daily score and the date it was set The Today leaderboard.
A record of each scored play: the day, the mode (challenge, daily or main), and a board, level or date identifier. The points are added to one total per day Today's points total, and making sure a play is never counted twice.
The dates you took part Counting how many players a day had.
A lifetime total The All Time leaderboard.
Short-lived counters that limit how often one device can write Abuse protection. They live on the record and go with it.

What deleting removes: your leaderboard profile

All of it. Your player record and everything attached to it are removed from our database — your player number, display name, avatar, daily scores, play records and daily points totals, lifetime total and the record of which days you were present. This is a deletion, not an archive: the leaderboard rows are gone, not flagged. (Deleting an account, below, is different: we keep a small deletion record so the deleted account cannot be re-created.)

If you signed in: your account and cloud save

Signing in is optional (the account button on the Home screen → Continue with Google / Sign in with Apple), and it exists for one thing: saving your progress to an account so it comes back after a reinstall or on another device. If you did sign in, we also hold, under the account identifier Firebase Authentication assigned (a random string — not your email, name or photo, which we do not store): one copy of your game save, a short history of its recent versions, and the list of one-time rewards you have already claimed, including the store’s transaction number, product and time of each purchase already delivered, so the same purchase is not delivered again on this save. Purchase receipts and whether you own No forced ads are never part of it.

To delete it from inside the app, while signed in: Settings (the gear) → About & Legal → Privacy & Data → Delete account & cloud save. You confirm with Apple or Google first; the app then removes the cloud save from our servers, deletes the leaderboard profile saved with it (below), revokes Sign in with Apple for Knock if you used Apple, and deletes the sign-in account, and it tells you which of those steps succeeded. If the Apple revocation could not be confirmed it says so — remove Knock under Sign in with Apple in your Apple account (iPhone Settings, or account.apple.com on Android); if it could not confirm whether the cloud save was deleted, or the sign-in account could not be removed yet, tap the same button again to finish. Your progress on the device is kept. Afterwards we keep only a deletion record (the two random account identifiers and the time of deletion) so that an old copy of the app cannot write to or re-create the account, for as long as the save service runs; it holds no game data, email, name or device information. The leaderboard profile it deletes is the one this device uses while its progress is saved to that account, exactly as Delete online data above would delete it (if the leaderboard cannot be reached, that part finishes when you are back online, and the app says so). If the progress on this device is not saved to that account, its leaderboard profile is kept: use Delete online data for it. Account deletion by email is not offered. An email alone deletes nothing. If you uninstalled Knock, reinstall it and sign in with the same provider to use the in-app steps above.

Removing Knock from your Google account's third-party access or your Apple ID's "Sign in with Apple" list revokes the sign-in but does not delete the save, so ask for the deletion first.

What stays on your device

Your game progress, your level, your coins, items and purchases, your awards, your streak and your settings are stored on your phone. Unless you signed in, they have never been sent to us; if you did, a copy is in your cloud save until you delete it (above). Deleting either does not touch them, and you can keep playing exactly where you were. To remove those as well, either use Settings → Reset progress in the app, or uninstall Knock — both are entirely local and neither involves us.

Deleting from inside the app

  1. Open Knock.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap About & Legal, then Privacy & Data.
  4. Tap Delete online data, then confirm.

Your device stops uploading at once, and any score still waiting to be sent is discarded rather than sent. If you are offline when you ask, the request is kept as pending — the app tells you so rather than claiming it is done — and it is sent as soon as you have a connection. We do not report the deletion as complete until the server confirms it.

Afterwards the app does not put you back on the leaderboard. A separate control, Turn the leaderboard back on, is the only way back, and it starts a brand-new record with a new player number unrelated to the old one. It restores nothing. After a deletion the app sends no leaderboard data; it still makes one anonymous request at launch to check whether an app update is required, which carries nothing about you. (If you have also signed in, your cloud save keeps syncing until you sign out or delete that account.)

The same Privacy & Data panel has Request deletion on the web, which opens this page.

Asking us to delete: current limitations outside the app

Account deletion by email is not offered. We do not currently provide a website form or an email confirmation process that deletes an account. Email alone does not establish ownership and does not delete your account, cloud save or leaderboard profile.

If you uninstalled Knock, reinstall it, sign in with the same Apple or Google account, and follow Delete account & cloud save above. For help finding those controls, write to Accounts@lcsoftwaresolutions.com. Do not send passwords or sign-in tokens. This is a support contact, not a working outside-app deletion route.

For Sign in with Apple, do not remove Knock from your Apple account before using the in-app deletion steps. If revocation cannot be confirmed, the app explains how to remove it afterwards.

Your leaderboard profile. A leaderboard profile has no email address or account behind it. It is tied only to a random player number that the app keeps, so that number is the only thing that shows a profile is yours.

How long it takes

When online, the in-app route sends the deletion as you confirm it and waits for the server to confirm before reporting completion. Offline leaderboard deletion remains pending until the app reconnects; account deletion needs a working connection.

Account deletion by email is not offered. We cannot give a processing deadline for an outside-app deletion service that is not operational. Contact us for help with the in-app steps.

What we keep, and why

After a leaderboard deletion we keep nothing about you. We do not archive your row, and we leave no "deleted" marker in its place. (Deleting an account is different: it keeps the small deletion record described above, so the deleted account cannot be re-created.)

Three honest exceptions, none of which is something we use to bring your profile back:

The privacy policy

The full detail of what Knock collects, who processes it and how long it is kept is in the Knock privacy policy. Ads in Knock are supplied by Google AdMob, which collects its own data on your device; that is not part of your player record, is not held by us, and is covered in the policy. For help with anything else, see the support page.
